The United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestine Refugees has described scenes in northern Gaza as catastrophic.

The Municipality of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza has also declared the town a ‘disaster’ area.

Videos shared online show that no civil defence team, no ambulance have been allowed to access and rescue the wounded in Beit Lahiya as many people are still trapped under the rubble.

A siege for the past three weeks continues and there is no water, no food or aid.
