Dr. Muhammad Khan (Defense Analyst): The objective of the exchanging lists of nuclear installations and facilities between India and Pakistan is that the nuclear installations of both the countries should be known to each other in order to avoid any sort of mishap. These lists are shared through an agreed formula. The nuclear sites are very sensitive and if anything goes wrong with the nuclear assets it may have implications for a very long time. Bothe Pakistan and India are sharing borders and Line of Control. Pakistan's nuclear assets are among the safest in the world and there is never single evidence that anything has gone wrong with the nuclear assets. The BrahMos missile was fired by India in March 2022. Pakistan strongly protested over the incident against the India claim of accidently fire of the missile. It was a deliberate fire of a BrahMos missile aimed to test the response of Pakistan. If it was accidently fired then why was it not reported by India at the same time. However, Pakistan was alert and its surveillance was active. Pakistan reported the incident at the UN forum. India's unsafe nuclear program doubts on Indian assignments in the days to come.
