Hamid Sarfraz (Environmentalist): Climate change is a global phenomenon. In the upcoming Africa Climate Summit, concerns of the developing countries must be addressed. In the Cop27 meeting, it was agreed to establish a Loss and Damage fund. Need of the hour is that this fund is established as early as possible to help the developing countries cope with adverse impacts of climate change. The developing countries are paying the price of the industrialization of the developed countries. It is unfortunate that sufferings of the developing countries due to climate change are not mitigated seriously.
