APHC pays tribute to sacrifices rendered by Kashmiris in IIOJ&K
August 03, 2023

All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that four years of Indian constant military siege, in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have failed to stifle the Kashmiris’ legitimate struggle for freedom.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC Vice Chairman Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the unprecedented steadfastness, firmness and bravery of Kashmiris again proved that their spirit and passion for freedom is invincible.

Reiterating call for complete strike in the territory and protest rallies all over the world on Saturday, he said it is time to give India and the international community a clear message that Kashmiris prefer death over slavery and would never compromise on their universally acknowledged right to self-determination.

Other APHC leaders including Syed Bashir Andrabi, Khawaja Firdous, Hakeem Abdul Rasheed, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, Farida Behanji and Junaidul Islam in their statements in Srinagar lamented that since abrogation of Article 370 on August 5, 2019, India with over one million trigger-happy troops, has turned Kashmir into a vast jail and concentration camp for its inhabitants.

They reiterated the appeal to Kashmir people to observe August 5 as Black Day to condemn India's unconstitutional action.
