The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has appealed to the United Nations to take decisive action to address the Kashmir dispute.

The APHC also emphasized the need to uphold the principle of the Kashmiri people's right to self-determination acknowledged by UN Security Council.

APHC Spokesman in a statement, issued in Srinagar, said that Kashmir remains a critical test for the UN, being one of the oldest issues on its agenda, and demands continued international attention.

He stressed that the UN must intervene to prevent India from changing the demographic composition of the territory.

Meanwhile, Kashmiri leaders, addressing a symposium in Muzaffarabad, also emphasized the need for unity, diplomatic efforts, and international intervention to stop human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and resolve the issue in accordance with UN resolutions.

On the other hand, Indian troops continued cordon and search operations in Kupwara, Bandipora, Islamabad, Rajouri, Udhampur, Doda and other areas of the occupied territory.
