In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India has proved itself a fake democracy by crushing Kashmiris’ right to self-determination with its military might. 

A report released on the International Day of Democracy today, said India’s suppression of Kashmiri aspirations exposes hollow claims of its democratic values. The systematic oppression in occupied territory lays bare illusion of India’s democratic credentials.

The report said world must recognize the contradiction between India’s democratic rhetoric and its oppressive actions in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
