In Afghanistan, a bomb blast rocked a gathering near the gate of Eidgha Mosque in Kabul on Sunday, leaving a number of civilians dead.

In a tweet, Deputy Information Minister of Afghan interim government Zabihullah Mujahid confirmed that the explosion happened during a prayer ceremony for his deceased mother.
