On the third day of the second cricket test against New Zealand in Karachi, Pakistan in their first innings were 407 for 9 at stumps on Wednesday.
Saud Shakeel with 124 and Abrar Ahmed without score were on the crease.
Pakistan still trail by 42 runs.
Ajaz Patel captured three wickets while Ish Sodhi two wickets for New Zealand.
Earlier, New Zealand scored 449 in their first innings. Both teams will also play three one-day matches from the 9th of this month in Karachi.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board has announced free entry for people during the second cricket test between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi.
In a statement, a PCB official said, free entry in all stands except two VIP ticketed stands.
Entry will be first come first served basis.
