In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has raised serious concerns over the increasing control of non-local entities over land and businesses in the territory.

In a statement, the APHC warned that these actions are part of a deliberate attempt to alter the territory’s demography.

The APHC mentioned the large-scale purchase and confiscation of land in popular tourist destinations by non-locals is a sinister agenda to undermine the territory’s governance and legal frameworks.

The APHC pointed out that officials who oppose such sales to non-locals are transferred to silence dissent and protect vested interests.
