The Kashmir Solidarity Day is being observed across Gilgit-Baltistan on Monday to express solidarity with Kashmiris.
Protest rallies were organized in Gilgit, Hunza, Ghizer, Nagar, Astore, Diamer and four districts in Baltistan division.
Addressing to the rallies speakers expressed their solidarity with Kashmiris and demanded to the world human right organizations to settle the Kashmir issue in accordance with United Nation resolutions and wishes of Kashmiris.
They condemned Indian troop atrocities being perpetrated on Kashmiris by Indian brute force who are demanding for the genuine right to self-determination.
In Gilgit, a seminar was held in Fatima Jinnah women degree college, Chief Secretary Dr. Kazim Niaz Deputy Speaker Jafarullah Khan, Minister Tourism Fida Khan and Adviser to CM Shams Mir addressed on the occasion.
Later, a rally was bring out from Degree college. The participants of rally with joint hands formed a human chain at twin bridges near Chinar garden.
