All Parties Hurriyat Conference has thanked the government and people of Pakistan for their unwavering support to Kashmiris’ struggle for securing their right to self-determination.

In a message on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day being observed today [Saturday], senior APHC leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said Pakistan’s continued support had always been a source of encouragement for the oppressed people of IIOJK.

In their statements, other APHC leaders said observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day every year on 5th February is a proof that Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two youth in Srinagar, today. The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Zakura area of Srinagar.

Meanwhile, the Committee to Protect Journalists has urged the authorities in IIOJK to immediately and unconditionally release journalist Fahad Shah.

CPJ’s Asia program coordinator, in Washington, D.C Steven Butler said arrest of Fahad Shah shows Indian authorities’ utter disregard for press freedom.

On the other hand, Kashmir Council Europe organized a candlelight vigil in Brussels, Belgium evening to show unity with oppressed people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
