Hindu Amarnath Yatris in large numbers pose a serious threat to the fragile environment in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

A report by Kashmir Media Service says as the World Environment Day is being observed today but the Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government is ignoring the threats by holding a big Hindu Amarnath Yatra from June 30 to August 11 in IIOJK.

It said the Modi regime is ignoring the World Environment Day’s message as its decision to allow hundreds of thousands of Hindus to visit the Amarnath Cave is an environmental disaster.

The report stressed India must be pressured to drastically limit both duration of Yatra as well as number of pilgrims to save the fragile ecology of Kashmir.
