Salman Ghani (Analyst):
"Uraan Pakistan" is reflection of commitment and strong resolve of the government for economic uplift of the country. However, it is a reality that economic stability is linked to political stability and is common practice in civilized world that no political party ever politicizes economy for its political gains. But, unfortunately, some hostile elements exist that want to destabilize Pakistan economically. The prudent policies of the government will bring economic development in the country. For that, the government should strive to bring political stability in the country. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is equipped with qualities of taking allies along with the government on economic uplift programme. Currently, our economic programme does not suit some global powers, however, we may under lesser pressure once we are self-reliant. We have achieved self-reliance in defense sector as well. Our politicians must realize that their politics will become strong with economic advancement and strength of Pakistan. The government and media must sensitize the masses against the hostile activities of anti-Pakistan elements who want to destabilize Pakistan through their social media campaigns. Social media accounts are being operated from abroad to spread fake propaganda. Basically, a regional major power does not like an economically strong Pakistan because Pakistan’s global role will increase once Pakistan gains economic strength.
