Speakers at an international webinar have expressed concern over the marginalization of Muslims in different spheres of life in India particularly in politics.

All India Majlis Tameer-e-Millat working for socio-economic causes of Muslims, organized the webinar titled “Role of Muslims in the politics of India.”       

The participants of webinar said every political party in India is maintaining distance from Muslims because they fear that they would get fewer votes in elections and suffer politically if they support.            

They said the hatred against Muslims has been fanned by Hindutva rhetoric of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.
