Defence Minister Pervez Khattak says the country's defense is invincible.

He was talking to Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel during special transmission in connection with Defence and Martyrs Day on Thursday.

The Defence Minister said the security forces have successfully dealt with the challenge of terrorism. He said the war against terrorists will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.

He said the nation is observing Defence and Martyrs Day today to commemorate the sacrifices of all those who laid their lives for defense of the country.

He said both security forces and civilians have sacrificed their lives in a large number for defence of the country and we pay tribute to all of them.

He said we are proud of our armed forces whose defended the motherland when a war was imposed on Pakistan by India in 1965.
