IG Islamabad Police Amir Zulfiqar Khan says community policing has its roots in police-community relation.

He was speaking in Radio Pakistan's Program ‘Rabta’ on Friday. 

The IG said our major challenge is to deal with the menace of terrorism and incumbent government has initiated a number of programs in this regard.

He said several training sessions are in progress for police officials of Islamabad Police

He said public trust on police is improving due to friendly culture and initiatives like ‘Pehly Salam phir Kalam’.
