In India, thousands of farmers have protested in Haryana state against government to repeal controversial agriculture laws.
Authorities in Karnal district said they will not tolerate if highways are blocked by farmers but protesters said that they will break barriers and move forward.
Farmers say they will march to mini-secretariat and occupy streets.
Authorities have imposed restrictions on gatherings and snapped internet services ahead of the protest.
Thousands of farmers have been on strike since November, demanding repeal of laws that they say will shrink their incomes.
Meanwhile, a nationwide strike is planned on 27th of this month to protest against the laws.
