Senior Minister Punjab, Maryam Aurangzeb has said that environmental pollution is a serious issue and concrete measures are being taken in Punjab to tackle that successfully.
She was addressing on the second day of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Asia and South-East Asia Regional Conference at Punjab Assembly in Lahore today.
She said that Pakistan is amongst the states which are badly affected by climate change as we can face challenges like acute water shortage in future.
She said that the Punjab Government is taking measures for the prevention of environmental pollution, including conversion of latest technology in brick kilns and ban on use of plastic bags.
