The World Food Programme has decided to suspend food aid to over two hundred thousand Palestinians from next month due to a "severe" shortage of funds.

The WFP's country director Samer Abdeljaber said they are forced to make the decision due to limited resources.

The United Nations agency offers impoverished Palestinians both monthly cash vouchers and food baskets. Both programs will be affected.
