A meeting of Fertilizer Review Committee, chaired by the Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, has said that there will be no shortage of fertilizer supply this year.

The committee noted that all fertilizer production plants are operating efficiently.

Rana Tanveer Hussain expressed satisfaction over stability in fertilizer prices, emphasizing this will benefit farmers.

The meeting also observed that local fertilizer prices are lower than international rates.

The Minister for Industries and Production said strict action will be taken against hoarding and profiteering in fertilizers.

He also mentioned that fertilizer plants have been instructed to upgrade their technology.
