Adviser to Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Qamar Zaman Kaira says advancement in the field of Science and Technology is inevitable for the progress of country.

Addressing the students in connection with the Science Fair at Forman Christian College in Lahore on Thursday, he stressed upon students to invest their abilities to acquire scientific knowledge as no nation can make progress without seeking the knowledge of science.

Qamar Zaman Kaira called for adopting scientific approach as it not only ensured the materialistic progress but it also helped to eliminate the rigidity and stubbornness within the society.

He lamented that we export the raw agricultural products because we are unable to add value over there due to lack of progress in the field of science.

Later, talking to media, Qamar Zaman Kaira urged the PTI Chief to reject the politics of anarchy and chaos in the large interest of country.

He criticised Imran Khan to hold rally in Lahore despite the imposition of section 144 in the metropolitan.
