The United Nations has welcomed the extension of Syria's authorization for two border crossings for aid delivery from Turkiye.

In a statement, the UN Chief Deputy spokesman Farhan Haq said the UN greatly welcomes the Syrian permission to extend border crossings for another three months. He said the United Nations stands ready to resume aid operations through the two point, as soon as possible.
