Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed the timely completion of the Margalla Enclave project, a new joint venture of the Capital Development Authority and the Defence Housing Authority.
During his visit to the Margalla Enclave in Islamabad today, the Interior Minister reviewed the ongoing development work.
Mohsin Naqvi instructed that 50 percent of the development work on the project should be completed by August 14, with the aim of achieving 100 percent completion by December 31.
He emphasized the use of all available resources, ensuring that the possession of the plots is handed over to the owners.
He also directed the construction of a new road for easy access to Margalla Enclave, saying that the distance of the alternate route from the Prime Minister's House to Margalla Enclave should only be of 5 minutes.
Moreover, Mohsin Naqvi directed the immediate removal of encroachments along the road leading to Margalla Enclave.
The Interior Minister said the citizens have shown keen interest in this project due to its excellent location. He said that in addition to the beautiful setting, all standard and modern facilities will also be provided to the citizens, including the construction of a lake within the Margalla Enclave.
Margalla Enclave is being established on 10,000 kanals, with plots of 5 marla, 10 marla, and 1 kanal being made available to the public. The last date for submission of applications is February 14.
