The Green Climate Fund team has arrived in Pakistan to discuss potential areas of cooperation and enhance Pakistan's capacity to address climate change and access climate finance.

Federal Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rehman received the delegation in Islamabad.

The Green Climate Fund team will be in Islamabad till the 11th of this month and will conduct various meetings and workshops with the stakeholders.

The team's visit to Pakistan is in response to the request by Ministry of Climate Change request on behalf of the Government of Pakistan.
