Salman Ghani (Senior Analyst): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has rightly said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has done nothing for public welfare during last thirteen years. The constitution has devolved immense rights and powers to provinces through 18th constitutional amendment. It is correct that provincial government of KP is trying to keep politics alive through agitation and confrontational politics instead of delivering to people. The incumbent Chief Minister KP is more submissive to his jailed leader rather than to people of KP. Failure of KP government in delivering to people has forced the federal government to think some out of box solution. The constitution of Pakistan offers numerous options to federal government to handle such situation in KP. In this regard, a crucial and important meeting has been held at presidency where very important reports were presented. Now there are reports that federal cabinet may grant approval for declaration of emergency in KP in tomorrow’s session.
