All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called on the international community to intensify efforts for resolving the Kashmir dispute in line with United Nations resolutions.
In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesperson Abdul Rashid Minhas said despite India’s efforts, Kashmiris remain committed to the right to self-determination and will not be deterred from their legitimate struggle for freedom.
The spokesperson urged India to acknowledge the ground reality and work toward a peaceful resolution of the dispute.
He also expressed grave concern over the deteriorating health of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, who is on an indefinite hunger strike in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
Meanwhile, Indian troops have intensified cordon and search operations across occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Similar search operations were conducted in Sopore, Bandipore, Handwara, Kupwara, Ganderbal, and Kangan areas of the Kashmir valley.
Additionally, Former Indian Supreme Court Judge Markandey Katju in a statement on X has slammed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for promoting hatred, particularly targeting Muslim and Christian communities in India.
