Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said he is deeply saddened by the injuries sustained by six Pakistani nationals in the Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister prayed for speedy recovery of the injured and said Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh is in close contact with the Saudi authorities and extending all possible assistance to the affected families.

Meanwhile, in a post on X, Ishaq Dar said Pakistan remains firmly committed to the Kingdom's sovereignty, territorial integrity and security in accordance with the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.
