In Balochistan, peace jirgas were held with the tribal elders of Pak-Afghan border areas of Qamar-ud-Din Karez and Manza Kai.

Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Abid Mazhar, tribal chiefs of Qamar-ud-din Karez and Manza Kai, and locals participated in the Jirgas.

Tribal elders appreciated the role of Pakistan Army and FC in border management and establishment of law and order.

The tribal elders assured their full support in border issues and war against terrorists.
