Senior APHC leader Shabbir Ahmed Shah says Indian bid to host the G-20 summit in Srinagar is an attempt to deflect world attention from real issue of Kashmir. 

In a letter to the UN and OIC Secretary Generals from Tihar jail, Shah said the Modi regime's plan to hold summit in disputed territory to hoodwink the world and to hide ground realities in the occupied territory.

He said India in brazen violation of the Security Council resolutions had unilaterally and unlawfully changed the special status of Kashmir on 5th August 2019 and since then has been shamelessly promoting the so-called normalcy mantra.

APHC leader urged the UN and OIC to play their pivotal roles in settlement of the Kashmir dispute to ensure durable peace and stability in South Asia.
