Chairman of the World Forum for Peace and Justice, Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai says Indian government has denied Kashmiri people from their right to self-determination.

He said this in a statement issued on the 76th anniversary of the United Nations Commission for India and Pakistan resolution of August 13, 1948.

The resolution proposed a plebiscite to determine the future status of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Indian forces have arrested eight youth in Kathua district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
