Pakistan’s foreign policy moving on right direction: Analysts

Zulifqar Badar: ( Spokesman Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari):Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is visiting  Davos , Switzerland  to participate in World Economic Forum which will begin on Monday. It is considered an important forum, in which heads of states, representatives and leading personalities of the world participate and share their experiences and suggestions to make their people prosperous.It is encouraging that Pakistan has earned a remarkable success in recent Geneva Conference, where more than 9.57 billion dollar pledges were made for rehabilitation of flood Affectees in Pakistan. It has shown confidence of world’s trust in incumbent government.  Pakistan’s foreign policy is moving on right direction, and Islamabad has been successful in highlighting Pakistan’s narrative at international forums.  It is high time to take reforms in public diplomacy and strong connectivity with other nations of the world. It is needed to work for transformation and restructuring of the system to bring our country at the equal level of advanced countries.   

Dr.Ghulam Samad ( Economist): The incumbent government is moving on right direction to steer the country out of the economic crisis.  Pakistan’s visible success at COP-27 summit at Sharm-el-Sheikh and International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan in Geneva shows confidence of comity of nations on Pakistan. Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is participating in World Economic Forum at Davos where he would have the opportunity to share the measures and steps taken by the government for uplifting of people of Pakistan. It is very welcoming step by Pakistan that it started trade diplomacy to enhance its economic activities with the world, which will ultimately bring fruitful results for strengthening of the country.
