In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, further intensifying its crackdown on the Kashmiris, the BJP-led Indian government has dismissed three more Muslim employees and seized yet another property.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the sacked employees include local police constable Firdous Ahmad Butt, teacher Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, and forest department orderly Nisar Ahmad Khan.

Additionally, Indian police raided multiple bookstores in Srinagar, seizing over 650 books linked to Jamaat-e-Islami.

The confiscated works include writings by renowned Islamic scholars such as Jamaat-e-Islami founder Abul A’la Maududi, Amin Ahsan Islahi, and iconic Kashmiri pro-freedom leader Syed Ali Gilani.

Jamaat-e-Islami, along with several other pro-freedom organizations remain banned in IIOJK.

In a post on X, senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq strongly condemned the dismissal of three Kashmiri employees and  confiscating the books, calling actions authoritarian move.

On the other hand, during a meeting in Srinagar, APHC leaders and organizations paid glowing tribute to the prominent Hurriyat leader, Shaheed Ghulam Muhammad Bulla, on his 50th martyrdom anniversary.
