In India, at least 58 people have been killed and many others feared missing after intense rains caused floods and landslides in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand states.

In Himachal Pradesh, fifty people were killed, including at least nine killed in the collapse of a Hindu temple in the state capital Shimla while eight others were killed in Uttarakhand state.
