In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier succumbed to injuries sustained in an attack in Kokarnag area bringing the death toll to four.

The attack took place during a cordon and search operation in Islamabad district. The other three personnel killed in the attack included an army colonel, major and a Deputy Superintendent of police.
