The UK-based Tehreek-e-Kashmir, in a resolution, has termed the Indian Supreme Court’s verdict validating the Modi regime’s decision to end the special status of Kashmir as an open contravention of the UN resolutions.

The resolution was passed in a conference held in London and chaired by British Member of Parliament Paul Bristow and hosted by President of the UK-based Diaspora group Fahim Kayani.

The participants expressed concern over the grave silence enforced by the Indian military regime in occupied Jammu and Kashmir by heightening surveillance, regular raids arbitrary arrests and extra-judicial kidnappings.

They also expressed concern over prolonged illegal detention of Kashmiri resistance leadership and activists and called for their immediate release.
