Pakistan's Alternate Permanent Representative to the U.N Asim Iftikhar met with United Nations Assistant Secretary-General Khaled Khiari in New York.

They exchanged views on a number of important issues on the Council’s agenda including the Middle East and Afghanistan and UN’s role therein.
