Analysts slam Indian efforts to hoodwink world from its human rights violations in IIOJK
February 16, 2021

Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Asif Yasin Malik (Former Secretary Defence): India can go to any extent to legitimize its wrongdoings in IIOJK. Many western powers have turned a blind eye to Indian oppression in IIOJK for their strategic and economic interests. Pakistan is heading in the right direction as far as Kashmir issue is concerned. Exercise AMAN-2021 is a proof of success of Pakistan's foreign policy. It is a diplomatic victory for Pakistan that the world has started taking notice of Indian brutalities in IIOJK. Pakistan’s position is strengthening in the comity of the nations while India is on a losing streak. Economic wellbeing, welfare of the people and human rights are declining in India. The BJP regime has tarnished the secular and democratic face of India.

Brig. (Retd.) Said Nazir (Defense Analyst): India is habitual of violating international laws, norms and values. India's deteriorating ties with neighboring countries indicate New Delhi’s hegemonic agenda. India is persistently violating human rights of people in IIOJK. Indian fascist regime is not willing to resolve the Kashmir issue in a peaceful manner. The international observers and human rights agencies do not have access to the held valley. India cannot hoodwink the world community through staged visits of diplomats in IIOJK. The guided visit would not be able to expose the actual human rights situation on the ground. The diplomats would have no access to the victims of Indian brutalities.

Dr. Abdul Wajid (IR Expert): International media has badly exposed Indian propaganda and state sponsored terrorism. India is in hot waters due to its inhuman policies. Indian claim of normalcy in IIOJK is based on falsehood. It is not possible for Indian government to hide the actual situation in IIOJK in this era of technology. Journalists in India are not free to report the actual state of human rights in IIOJK. The RSS hooligans roam freely in IIOJK and promote Hindutva ideology to target minorities. The UN observers must be allowed to visit IIOJK to gauge the actual situation. Despite presenting all the evidence, the international community has failed to take any action against Indian state sponsored terrorism in its neighboring countries. Internal political situation in India has become miserable.  A large segment of Indian society is holding protests against BJP's fascist policies.

Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar (VC, National Skills University, Islamabad): An effective education policy can be instrumental for the country’s development. It is a good omen that Prime Minister is very much interested in improving the quality of education in Pakistan. Promotion of skills-based education is imperative to compete in the global market. It is highly important to connect education with the requirements of industry. Scholarships are highly valuable to acquire international exposure and knowledge to utilize for the development of home country. Higher education has a great role to play in the development of Pakistan. We should improve our educational system to that extent which can attract international students and researchers.
