Analyst highlights interfaith dialogue to curtail Islamophobia
March 16, 2025

Qibla Ayaz (Islamic Scholar): Islamophobia is very high in western countries, India and some South Asian countries like Mayanmar. There are external and internal reasons for this Islamophobia like economic prosperity of Muslim population in those societies because Muslims work hard and become prosperous and it is not liked by local people. Then violent situation in some Muslim countries and terrorist exposure of Muslims associated terror outfits like ISIS and others are also heightening up Islamophobia in the world. As western societies link every violent or terror related activity with Muslims, now it is high time for Muslim countries to start dialogue with European countries to search out means and tools to reduce the Islamophobia in those societies.
