Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has directed all secretaries to utilize development funds in a transparent manner before 30th June.

Presiding over a Third Quarterly Review meeting in Muzaffarabad on Thursday, he directed concerned departments to monitor development work on daily basis.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan said action would be taken against those officials who showed negligence in utilization of the development funds.

Additional Chief Secretary (Development) said Communication and Works Department tops with 96 percent progress while other departments’ lies at 68 percent.

Meanwhile, a meeting headed by Chief Secretary AJK Mathar Niaz Rana reviewed utilization of development funds.

The meeting decided that all secretaries and heads of the departments will monitor development process effectively and funds released keeping in view the stages of the development.
