Both Pakistan and Radio Pakistan were born together and are going together. The award ceremony will be the recognition of those voices who have done well through this platform. I am very happy that Radio Pakistan is going to organize a colourful Diamond Jubilee Awards 2022 ceremony on this important occasion.

Director News and Current Affairs Radio Pakistan Abdul Raoof Khan: Director News and Current Affairs Radio Pakistan Abdul Raoof Khan has said that the main objective of Diamond Jubilee Awards ceremony is to recognize and encourage artists and professionals who performed through the platform of Radio Pakistan. Talking to Radio Pakistan’s News and Current Affairs channel today he said the credit of holding this event which is going to be held after a very long time with the special efforts and interest of Director General Radio Pakistan, goes to Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb and Secretary Information Shaheera Shahid. He said that the awards will be given to the artists who rendered meritorious services in different fields in the national broadcaster.
