Preparations are in full swing to hold the annual provincial Naat Khawani competition at Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum Auditorium of Radio Pakistan Peshawar on Tuesday.

Caretaker Provincial Information Minister Barrister Feroze Jamal Shah Kakakhel will be chief guest on the occasion.

The competition will be held in four categories for male and female contestants.

In the first category, the competition will be held amongst male contestants up to age of fifteen years. In the second category, male Naat Khawans from fifteen to twenty-five years of age will contest.

Similarly, in the third category, female Naat Khawans up to fifteen years of age will participate in the competition. While, female contestants from 15 to 25 years of age will take part in the fourth category.

The winners of provincial Naat competition will qualify for the national competition to be held at Radio Pakistan headquarters in Islamabad.
