Analysts laud Prime Minister Imran Khan’s efforts at UN to designate March 15 as "International Day to Combat Islamophobia”
March 17, 2022

Dr Muhammad Tufail (Religious Scholar) There are two main factions of human beings at global level one is the Muslims and other is the non-Muslims. As Human being each and every person is dignified one. There is no difference between the both as human being. But become a muslim a person has an edge over the other with respect to their religion they accepted. So there is clear distinction between the believer and the no believer. As in historical perspective there is a cold war in the believer and the non-believer for longer period of time. After the end of cold war the non-Muslims realized that Islam and the Muslims are their basic and fundamental enemies. To avoid any development among the Muslims and to develop any harmony among the human being they are creating the new concept that is known as Islamophobia which means the Muslims and the Non Muslims can't live together because according to the perceptions of the Non-Muslims : the Muslims are barbarian, they are terrorists and they are fundamentalist. Such perceptions are not only highly condemnable but against the reality on the ground. Muslims are humble, they are believer in a God, they are Human being live together the Islam is a religion that provides the opportunity to live together.

Asif Khan (Secretary General Overseas Pakistanis Welfare Council) It is an historical achievement not only for Pakistan but for whole Muslim Ummah. It is for the first time Pakistan is playing the leading role guiding Muslim Ummah on international forum. As many Pakistanis abroad faced the consequences of Islamophobia for many decades and now this case I hopefully assure there will clear the mind of  the Non-Muslims and their wrong perceptions and hopefully the many European countries and their parliaments will amend their laws regarding this. This will create harmony between the Nations and the civilizations as well.

Abdullah Gul (Defense Analyst) It is an old issue highly debatable but the reality is Kashmir dispute is not the new one. The commitment made the UN by implementing its resolutions which is yet to be fulfilled. The Indians are said to be the Major Democratic country so why they are hesitant to give chance to the Kashmiri people the right of self-determination which are facing atrocities since long.
