Ambassador of Japan in Pakistan, Akamatsu Shuichi called on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore today.

During the meeting, they discussed various ways to increase economic cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides emphasized on promoting mutual relations, trade cooperation, and investment in various sectors.

On her part, the Punjab Chief Minister said all possible facilities will be provided to Japanese investors in the province.

She said the government seeks cooperation with Japan in the sectors of agriculture, minerals, IT, artificial intelligence, robotics, and energy.
