(R) Abdul Qayyum (Defense Analyst): With the passage of timeand enemy has shifted to hybrid warfare from conventional war; therefore, hostile powers are promoting terrorism in Pakistan to deter investors from coming to Pakistan. Therefore address of army chief to Overseas Pakistanis Convention was hope giving and encouraging the investors. Our overseas Pakistanis can invest in a number of sectors including IT, mining and others. Thus the army chief did the right action in a well done manner.  Pakistan’s relations with China are deep rooted and now we are talking of maritime cooperation. Our Gwadar Port is functional and we are looking for joint ventures in this sector.
