India is carrying out systematic genocide in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle for securing their UN-acknowledged right to self-determination.

Indian troops have martyred eight Kashmiris, including a 60-year-old man, in Baramulla, Kulgam and Rajouri districts in staged encounters in the last three days.

The killing of innocent people in fake encounters is part of the nefarious game plan of Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government and its Hindutva-influenced establishment to eliminate indigenous population in occupied Kashmir.

Political analysts and civil society members in Srinagar talking to media persons lamented that the Kashmiris are being punished for demanding their inalienable right to self-determination guaranteed to them by the United Nations.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party in their statements in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the surge in Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory.

APHC leader, Advocate Divender Singh Behl, in a statement issued in Jammu said that Indian brutal tactics cannot intimidate the Kashmiri people into submission.

On the other hand, the Chairman of World Forum for Peace and Justice, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai, in a statement in Washington called for resolving the Kashmir dispute through tripartite talks involving Pakistan, India and the genuine Kashmiri leadership for ensuring durable peace in South Asia.
