In Karachi, at least fourteen people were killed and eight others injured including father of MNA Pakistan Tehreek Insaf from Karachi Alamgir Khan in a blast in the Paracha Choke area of Shershah on Saturday.

According to bomb disposal squad, blast occurred due to gas leakage.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has condoled to all the families of victims of the twin blasts at Sher Shah Paracha Chowk, Karachi.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said he is especially saddened to hear the loss of PTI MNA Alamgir Khan's father who also perished in the blast.

The Prime Minister also prayed for the bereaved family.

President Dr Arif Alvi visited the residence of MNA Alamgir Khan and expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of his father.

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressing deep grief over the loss of precious lives have summoned the detailed inquiry report.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting also condoled to the families of victims of the twin blasts at Sher Shah Paracha Chowk, Karachi.

In his condolence message, the Minister prayed for the departed souls and bereaved families.
