Russian President Vladimir Putin has said Moscow's powerful military-industrial complex is ramping up production and his country will prevail in Ukraine.

Talking to workers at a factory in St Petersburg, he said overall military equipment output is rising even as demand for it grows because of the special military operation in Ukraine.
