It is a mega achievement of the government and result of government’s policies towards science and technology as well as investment. This achievement is a confidence of global tech giant on Pakistan’s financial and investment policies. Google’s office presence in Pakistan is a significant positive development because it is recognition of potential of Pakistan’s human resources. Google’s office will offer huge and well-paid jobs to Pakistani talented youth. Google’s presence will also facilitate exchange of Pakistani resources to US based offices. Furthermore, Google will cooperate with Pakistani private and government offices and departments in tech related ventures. True yields of this development will become vivid in coming days. Moreover, Google’s presence will also lure other global tech giants to open their offices in Pakistan. This will also bring Pakistan into international limelight. Now other major international IT and tech giants will also come to Pakistan. Google will also launch far reaching innovative projects especially related to IT and other virtual sectors.

In this connection, Pakistani IT experts and free- lancers will have better and improved facilities to use Google’s tools, cloud and other services as Pakistan falls among world’s top five free lancing countries. So, I think that establishment of Google’s office in Pakistan will p[rove to be a big step towards digitalization, startups and digital marketing. It will also boost education and literacy rate through AI training and Google certification. It will also boost entrepreneurship and technological advancements. It will offer digital and AI courses to Pakistani talented youth. Now we may have much needed tech environment for technological advancements.
