Minister says govt extending maximum facilities to Hajjis
January 20, 2025

Chaudhry Salik Hussain (Minister for Religious Affairs): The government is exercising the utmost transparency in selection of Muaweneen (assistants) for pilgrims for the upcoming Hajj. No pilgrim will require transport because their hotels and residences will be near Madina. The government has not raised the price for Hajj and last year’s price will apply. The government is hiring residential buildings near to Haram in Makkah to offer maximum facilitation to pilgrims. We have made it compulsory for Muaweneen to pay the price of Hajj if they want to perform Hajj. Muaweneen will be bound to live with pilgrims in their camps and residential buildings during their stay in Saudi Arabia and return back with them in same flight. It will ensure availability of Muaweneen to the pilgrims though out their stay in Saudi Arabia. We will send top doctors to our medical facility at Al Azizia and each doctor will attend at least 800 to 1000 pilgrims daily.
