Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended greetings to the people celebrating Nowruz in Pakistan and around the world.     

In a message on the occasion of Nowruz, he said the day marks the advent of spring and renewal of nature.

He said it is an opportunity to express gratitude for the countless blessings that have been bestowed upon humanity and to express our hopes and aspirations for the new year.

Shehbaz Sharif said the celebration of Nowruz marks the beginning of the Iranian New Year, a time to welcome the new year with new hopes and aspirations.

The Prime Minister thanked the communities, observing Nowruz in the country especially the Parsi community, for their important contributions towards the development of Pakistan.           

He urged everyone to come together to make this Nowruz a day of overcoming differences, promoting inclusion, regional and cultural harmony, and promoting unity.
